F1、WRCとならぶ三大世界選手権レースのひとつが、WTCC(FIA世界ツーリングカー選手権)。市販車をベースに改造して造られた"ツーリングカーレース"の世界最高峰で、毎回激しい超接近戦が繰り広げられています。
昨年に続いて今シーズンも日本に上陸、来る11月1日に岡山国際サーキットを舞台に開催されます。
