Yokohama ADVAN is proud to announce a new partnership with N.Technology for the freshly launched series, International Formula Master.
The single-seater formula was unveiled yesterday (Saturday, October 7th) at a trackside ceremony at this weekend’s FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) in Valencia and will be supporting at all European rounds of the championship in 2007.
Yokohama ADVAN was chosen as the official tyre supplier following its great success in the manufacturer’s first season in the WTCC.
"We are confident the series will be a success, based on N.Technology’s and Tatuus’ achievements within motorsport over the past ten years," said Yokohama Europe’s Marketing Manager, Kazuyoshi Sekiguchi. "One of the key elements that excites us about this Series is the fact that the race car has been build not only to the highest FIA safety standards but also to accommodate a hybrid engine. We are thrilled to be involved with the International Formula Master Series and look forward to competitive inaugural season."
Mauro Sipsz, President of N.Techology, said: "When building a new Series there are certain key elements that you can’t get wrong; the car, the engine and of course the tyres. Having worked closely with Yokohama this year in the FIA World Touring Car Championship, they have proved that they have a great product and offer a professional service, making Yokohama my preferred option."
International Formula Master is a single-make Series based on the S2000 engine regulations and is positioned as a stepping stone to Formula One.
